Simple Moves - The Estate Agent - About Us
£1 Million Success Story For Simple Moves A brand new Leeds estate agency with a difference is celebrating its first few weeks of trading with over £1 million worth of new business.
Not only successful but also a company with a conscience, Beeston based Simple Moves’ all female team of advisers brings a down to earth and competitive service to the city that already seems set to be a winning formula.
With a trendy corporate image matched by innovative interior design at its Dewsbury Road offices, the team at Simple Moves make it their mission to make customers relaxed about moving house by delivering the best possible service for a pre-agreed fixed price.
The female team has extensive customer service experience behind it, coupled with over 20 years knowledge of the estate agency business and, as market appraiser Freda Mughal, 30, explains, they are committed to changing how people think of their chosen profession; “Many people are wary of estate agents, and alongside recent negative publicity it is no wonder the public doesn’t always trust our industry.

“Our aim is to simplify the whole process and talk to people in language they will understand, and we believe that charging a fixed fee removes much of the uncertainty around costs.”
Freda’s previous roles include stints at WHBrown, Manning Stainton and Jump, whilst valuer Diane Wood, 37, has over 18 years experience in the property industry. They are supported by sales negotiator Tanya Winfield, and office manager Jaswinder Virdee, both of whom have customer service backgrounds.
The company’s services include sales, lettings, free valuations, online representation and newspaper advertising, as well as eye-catching window displays. Mortgage advice is handled by associate Steven Sale.
With over a dozen properties sold in just six weeks, the girls at Simple Moves are demonstrating that they really do live up to their name, and with more homes being signed up every day and a first time buyers’ open day on 5 May 2007, it looks like Leeds has a whole new approach to the property market.
